Sunny and I escaped Kentucky this weekend and set out to our second favorite home away from home, Cincinnati. Last time we were in town, we drove thought this cute little neighborhood and thought it would be a great place to stay that wasn’t in West Chester, where we usually end up. Hello-IKEA!
And it is very cute. Check out our room:
This is the bed and the desk. That is a king size Tempur-Pedic. I can’t decide how I feel about it. It feels like a marshmallow. However, sleeping on a marshmallow isn’t as unpleasant as you would think.
This place was built in the 1920’s, but they had a redesign in the past decade and converted the bathrooms into this amazing thing with subway tile and a glass shower. I would love to create this same look at home.
This is the view out one of the two windows. I swear for the price and charm, a bed and breakfast could not have been more awesome.
Now, this is cool. The TV is hidden behind a painting that scrolls away if you want to watch. And it is over the faux fireplace. Doesn’t matter that it is fake it makes nice noise and creates atmosphere. (As I blog next to a fake cracking fire)
I love this hotel, but I am not at all sure of “the village”.
